After ten years of no contact, Jiselle receives a wedding invitation from Nina, her former best friend. Jiselle reminisces about their formative years, during which they depended heavily on each other as they transitioned from girls to young women. Jiselle's self-confidence developed from the self-reliant nature of Nina, but their friendship was sacrificed when Nina turned her attention to their crush, Gin. After getting closer to Gin, Nina becomes pregnant, causing jealousy and fear to cause a falling out and destroy their once-strong bond. Ten years later, Jiselle is surprised to discover that Nina has become a different person after leaving a cruel mark on their friendship.
